Innovating Into Excellence – Midwest IHPA Hosts Annual Event
On September 7, IHPA-Midwest held its annual regional networking event. Over 60 healthcare professionals enjoyed delicious Persian kebabs, an inspiring panel discussion and rejuvenating conversation with colleagues.
Panelists included Gulzar Amlani, R.N., B.A., CEO and founder of Delta Home Health Care; Salima Kapadia, B.S., R.T., a traveling radiology technologist; and Dr. Shirin Poonja, an internal medicine physician and medical director at CVS Health-Aetna & associate professor at Loyola University Medical Center. The session was moderated by Dr. Sabin Juma, a pharmacist at Walgreens Boots Alliance.
The panel discussed career innovation within healthcare and the value of looking beyond traditional routes in considering one’s professional next steps.
