Southeast Region Hosts Breast Cancer Awareness Sessions and Hike to Promote Early Detection

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, the Southeast Region organized impactful awareness sessions across six Jamatkhanas, reaching over 200 Jamati members. The sessions, titled “Think Pink – Breast Cancer Awareness,” highlighted the importance of early detection, regular screenings, and preventive care. The initiative received excellent feedback, showcasing the community’s strong engagement and appreciation for the topic.

In addition, Birmingham Jamatkhana hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness Hike, drawing 29 participants, including 12 men, who demonstrated their commitment to supporting the cause. These activities not only raised awareness but also fostered a sense of unity and proactive health advocacy within the community.
