West Region Hosts Breast Cancer Awareness Workshop Empowering Communities

The Breast Cancer Awareness Workshop at Sacramento Jamatkhana engaged participants with an insightful presentation and hands-on training on self-breast exams, led by Ismaili Health Professionals. Women gained valuable knowledge in recognizing changes and seeking timely medical help. The presence of breast cancer survivors created an atmosphere of support and empowerment, while Oncology Navigators from the Cancer Institute further enriched the event with their expertise. United in raising awareness and promoting early detection, similar interactive sessions were held at LA HQ, Santa Clara Valley, Alameda, and Seattle Jamatkhanas.
